Menu Bar

From the Main Window menu bar, users can:

• Save all current configurations to a file.

• Load configurations from a file.

• Clear the summary information.

• Import filename or foldername pairs from a file. The pairs are composed of an old name, a separator, and a newname. The separator must be a comma. Typically, the file would be a csv file. Do not put any whitespace before or after the comma separator since the whitespace will be assumed to be part of the old or new name.

  e.g. c:\music\oldname.mp3, newname.mp3

  If an old or new name has comma's in it, then the entire name must be surrounded in double quotes.

  e.g. "c:\music\artist - this is the old song, 1978.mp3", newname.mp3

  The old name must include full path information; if it does not, then the current folder is assumed. The new name can have full path information but the base path must match that of the old name. The pairs are scanned for validity and then loaded into the detailed information list so that the old names can be renamed to the new names.

• Save the summary information to to file.

• Reset all configurations to their default values.

• Run scan using the currently selected pre-defined command from the pre-defined command panel.

• Run scan using the specialized Flac renaming (this performs the same function as pressing the Flac Scan button).

• Run scan using the specialized MP3 renaming (this performs the same function as pressing the MP3 Scan button).

• Run scan using the specialized Ogg renaming (this performs the same function as pressing the Ogg Scan button).

• Run scan using the custom renaming list of the custom renaming panel (this performs the same function as pressing the Scan button in the custom renaming panel).

• View the Detailed Information Window.

• View the Option Window.

• View a Hexadecimal codes to characters Table.

• View the custom renaming row commands. This is the same thing you get by right-clicking the mouse over the custom list.

• Access Built-In Help documentation.

• Access the tip of the day.

• Globally enable/disable the tooltips associated with the controls.

• Access the donation dialog and the program revision information.
